At this months San Francisco Blog Club we had a great talk by Oliver Starr about Content Curation.
Content cutation is all about humans organising information. It can be valuable to bloggers because if you are a true and good source of information them you provide a reason to visit your blog. The better the curation, the better the resource you provide the more reason there is for links and visit your site.

Last week I was part of a great example of curation and linkbate. I reached #7 ranking in Brand Republic’s latest most influential bloggers list. This is organised list of information. It is also an information source and it is a way to get leading bloggers to link to you.
