As you know, I will be attending PubCon this week and can’t be in two places at once.  So I won’t be attending ad:tech NY this time.  Just because I won’t be there doesn’t mean that I won’t be passing along great information about the great parties and networking opportunities.

Last night I spoke about content monetization at the Affiliate Summit Meetup San Francisco at the VigLink offices.

There were only about 20 affiliates present but it is about quality not quality and we all had a good evening. What struck me was the different technology companies that came. Yes it is San Francisco so you would expect lots of tech companies but it really feels like affiliate marketing is moving forward at a pace. One of this being ThinLink which terns images into affiliate links.

I am pleased to announce the launch of The Affiliate Marketing Awards 2011. The Affiliate Marketing Awards will take place in the evening of the 12th of April 2011 in San Francisco. That is the second night of Ad:tech San Francisco.

They will be at the W Hotel which is always popular and just by the Moscone Centre.

The judges are Shawn Collins, Joseph Morin, Peter Bordes, Jay Weintraub, Oliver Roup and Deborah Carney and Steve Hall. Ambassador include Heather Smith, Tim Jones and Andrew Bennet.
