ShoZu is an amazing BlackBerry app that empowers you to stay connected to your social media presence from your mobile. When setting ShoZu up, you are able to set up specific detination posting locations for your pictures within ShoZu. For example, if you want pictures to go from your mobile onto Flickr you can set that as the default. Each time you take a picture ShoZu will then ask if you want to share the picture, and you can select yes or no.
ShoZu uses your data plan to send the image from your mobile to the selected network. The interface is easy and the app does a good job of doing one thing and doing it well—getting pictures from your mobile onto the web.

To use ShoZu, make sure to start the app on your phone before using the camera- that makes everything work much more smoothly. All of this is done through a ShoZu account on the website and all information is stored on your mobile. You are also able to add or remove things from sites like YouTube.

Tweet Deck for BlackBerry, when will it happen? With the importance of social media and especially of Twitter growing by the day (if not faster), BlackBerry Apps are doing their best to keep up in real time with the real time micro-blogging service. If you are a BlackBerry users, you are probably checking the Twitter blogs to see when it will happen. For now, UberTwitter is stepping in.

ÜberTwitter is a company that has set out to create great twitter apps for mobile devices. Their first offering is UberTwitter for the BlackBerry smart phones. While currently in beta and with a few bugs, it is bringing a high level of functionality to the BlackBerry, and is probably the most useful, efficient and clean twitter app available for BlackBerry.

Tether your BlackBerry to your Mac BlackBerry App

BlackBerry Apps help make your BlackBerry even more powerful, and whether you are in affiliate marketing and need a highly functional smart phone or you are one of the growing ranks of social media addicts who want to be connected at all times, the BlackBerry is an essential tool. There are endless debates over whether the BlackBerry or the iPhone is the best smart phone out there- in the end it doesn’t matter too much which one you have as long as you are harnessing the power of one of the smartphones.

The new iPhone is touting its ability to tether it to your Mac, and while the iPhone may have the hype, the BlackBerry has had this tethering ability for some time. With your BlackBerry you can actually configure it to browse the Internet with your Mac. If you have the Leopard OS you can tether your BlackBerry Bold or BlackBerry Curve 8900 on a 8800 modem driver. Depending on your service provider, you may need to pay a little extra for a plan that allows you to tether to your Mac in order to avoid overage charges.

While this isn’t a pure BlackBerry App, it is a powerful BlackBerry application that extends the usability of your smart phone.

To make it happen on your BlackBerry, add your BlackBerry as a device inside the Bluetooth setup. Then set your BlackBerry as a Discoverable device.

Then configure your Mac- download and install the BlackBerry modem scripts for OS X. Select Bluetooth under your System Preferences, and select Set up Bluetooth Device, and mobile phone as the type of device.

To continue, enter the passkey into your BlackBerry and accept the connection request from your computer. Click the box that says Access the Internet with your phone’s data connection and enter the appropriate username/ password/ phone number.

Under network preferences, choose your network and click Plus: Interface: Bluetooth, and name your service, then enter the username/ password/ phone number again. Under Advanced, choose Research in Motion and your BlackBerry model, and I recommend Ignore dial tone when dialing. Then save all settings.

Then enable Bluetooth on both your phone and computer and set up each to connect to each other and you are set.

I’ve been writing about the BlackBerry as one of several great mobile tools for anyone involved with affiliate marketing, digital marketing or affiliate program management—the BlackBerry is a great tool that is adding some key features to its smartphone line that will expand and amplify the basic functionality of the mobile tenfold. The Twitter world on BlackBerry mobiles just keeps getting better—the most recent addition to the BlackBerry App world is TweetGenius. Social media and the BlackBerry: As different app developers are working (thank you!) to develop quality apps to use on your mobile to keep up with all of the social media channels, there are a few that rise to the top. SocialScope is a great interface for tracking and updating your social media presence and a huge advantage if you are involved with affiliate marketing.

SocialScope is easy to use and does great with both Twitter and Facebook, enabling you to update your status on one or both of the social media channels and the features go way beyond what TwitterBerry allows you to do. It integrates with the BlackBerry Address Book and Calendar, which is a great feature that makes it even more vital for keeping all of your scheduling and communication on the same page.

Here are some of the key features in SocialScope:

1. Twitter/ Facebook Status Management
With SocialScope you can view and update your status and pictures for both Twitter and Facebook. Not much more to say about that other than: Fantastic.

If you are in affiliate marketing or affiliate program management you undoubtedly have a lot of different money streams to manage, both in and out.
