Choosing Affiliate Marketing topics for mom bloggers is a necessary to be profitable. You can’t just choose any topic because there is money to be made. Consider your readers’ demographics and your blog topic. For example if your readers are mothers, choosing to work with an affiliate that markets poker won’t work, but one that markets children’s clothing can work. If your readers are other bloggers, then try hosting affiliate programs or one for business cards.
There are various affiliate sites that offer multiple programs such as Commission Junction, Amazon.com and Share A Sale. There are smaller affiliate companies that provide one on one assistance such as Mom’s Talk Network, Pillows of Lavender and Menu Planning Central.
Look for programs that allow second tier referred sales. This type of program works well for Mom Bloggers because of the networking that goes on this community. If a Mom Blogger can market a program through email or other more direct contact it can be easy to refer a program this way. Search for affiliate programs that you can write about in your blog. Banners don’t often work to earn money, but content marketing will provide better earning potential. So again, match the affiliate with your blog niche and your readers.
Mom Bloggers do have niches such as books, frugal living, crafts as well as baby products. There are many Affiliate Programs for these types of niches. Do your research and find one that fits. You may also use a program for a short period of time, such as holidays (Valentine’s Day Gifts) or a specific group of blog posts that you write, such as a blog tour about a conference (hotel or airfare sites).
Mom Bloggers can be successful Affiliate Marketers when using the correct programs.

Thought I’d show some love. Your post is included in my optimized feed. My Google Alerts notify me about affiliate marketing posts and I like to visit blogs, read articles get tips and leave my link. I like to choose a niche with broad appeal. Anybody who wants to build an internet business is going to need an auto responder. Seeing as how Affiliate Internet Marketing is on the rise, auto-responders are sure thing. Of course selling products is a must too, with Clickbank so on the rise. My wife loves crafts. I’ve been trying to get her to start up making them again, so I can help her sell them online.

It doesn’t matter what business your in; if you don’t bring traffic to your site you won’t make money. I spent over a year not knowing how to bring visitors to my site. But the simple truth is, if you can create a ton of links leading back to your site you’ll get traffic. Some may ask, but how do you know anyone will click on those links. Well that’s simple too. Post in targeted places, where people are asking the questions that you want to answer and solve with your product or service. I guess you need to know how to do that too huh? LOL! Ok
Go to google “search based keyword tool”, click on “Or see top keywords across all categories” and enter a search for the niche you want to analyze. It will automatically show you the most popular “key word phrase” for that keyword. You can either use that key phrase or click the magnifying glass and use the key phrases shown in Google Insights. Use the keyword phrases to create key word phrase questions. Enter those questions into Google Alerts “in parentheses” and wait for results.
I like to receive the alerts in Google Reader, but you can also receive them in your Gmail box. Go to the blogs or forums listed in the alert and comment, answering the questions being asked about your niche. Then leave your name, email and web address. Instant targeted links leading back to your sites. It’s just that simple and more fun than you could ever imagine. Stop killing yourselves and do it the right way.

I am a mom and a very successful affiliate marketing blogger. Blogging for fun is ok (and what it’s supposed to be about!) however, many people stoll don’t understand the potential that blogging has. You have Google Adsence, Amazon Affiliate Network, Ebay, Share a Sale, Clickbank and loads more.
Why not do something you love… and earn at the same time!!!

How did you miss out Clickbank in the list of affiliate sites.Again there are advantages with mom blogger that they can gel well together to form networks but again the disadvantage is that they need highly targeted traffic to maximize their earning potential.
