Electric Scooter UK, Urbanites and Scooters Sell Electric Scooter in the UK
Yesterday I meet Victoria Atherstone who runs a startup company in London selling electric scooters in uk called Urbanites + Scooters www.urbanitesandscooters.com/ . I liked her vision of saving the enviroment and brinig out a new product so I thought I would blog about it to give her some support.
So there are lots of electric bike companies?
The bike she has developed is not any ordinary bike!
With a top speed of 55mph and a range of up to 93 miles this is more like a real scooter than the toys we have seen before. And it looks like a real scooter too.
I lived in London for many years and my vespa was a fantastic way of getting around, Electric Scooters in UK make a lot of sense. They are very practical and great for the environment!
“Global warming and reducing our individual carbon footprint is arguably the biggest challenge for this and future generations. Balancing the need to travel to work with the need to be socially astute is a high priority. The need especially in dense urban areas to reduce emissions and pollution while easing congestion is also paramount.” Urban and Scooters
If you intrested in buying an Electric Scooter in the UK you can find more information here: http://www.urbanitesandscooters.com/ . If you would like to help her too. Please link to this post on the term “Electric Scooter UK”

Writing from across the Atlantic here. Gas prices are on the rise again. Heading to $4.00 a gallon in the States. With that in mind scooters are a great alternative to taking the gas guzzlers for short trips around town. Although a top speed of 55mph and a range of up to 93 miles certainly allows for even longer outings!! How is Victoria’s venture going? I tried her website and it would not load for me. Hopefully that is not a bad thing and just a temporary glitch…
