Rewards Affiliates, Rewards Affiliates or Cashback Affiliates
Reward sites are communities where the affiliate shares the affiliate commission with users.
Rewards affiliates explained: Think of it as Air Miles where you can earn miles when you purchase anything online that has an affiliate program.
Rewards affiliates sites can be great for selling retail products such as clothes online. There are some very large reward affiliates in the UK and US. In the UK reward affiliates tend to be called cashback affiliates and their websites called cashback sites. In the US they are called reward affiliates. They are also known as incentive affiliates.
Reward affiliate sites benefit from consumer interaction and consumers’ desire for money off. Some merchants choose not to work with rewards affiliates because they see it as reducing their brand value. Some reward site users will try and cheat the system by making false purchases in the hope of gaining lots of rewards and with no real purchases being made.
Some content affiliates complain about Rewards. Affiliates see consumers become interested in purchasing an item by reading about it on their content sites and then go to the rewards site to get their rewards when shopping. Content affiliates see this as reducing their income.
