Happy Foursquare Day, everyone! (You know, 4 squared equals 16, and April 16 is 4/16). Foursquare is a mobile app that lets users “check-in” at locations to keep up with friends, discover new places and unlock rewards. Mashable reports that they have recently topped 20 million registered users and 2 billion checkins. A big part of what Foursquare does is based on community, so celebrating a fun, meet-up focused celebration like Foursquare Day is ideal for the brand.
