TweetDeck BlackBerry ? : TweetDeck for BlackBerry isn’t here yet, but UberTwitter is Uber-Close!

Tweet Deck for BlackBerry, when will it happen? With the importance of social media and especially of Twitter growing by the day (if not faster), BlackBerry Apps are doing their best to keep up in real time with the real time micro-blogging service. If you are a BlackBerry users, you are probably checking the Twitter blogs to see when it will happen. For now, UberTwitter is stepping in.

ÜberTwitter is a company that has set out to create great twitter apps for mobile devices. Their first offering is UberTwitter for the BlackBerry smart phones. While currently in beta and with a few bugs, it is bringing a high level of functionality to the BlackBerry, and is probably the most useful, efficient and clean twitter app available for BlackBerry.
UberTwitter: As listed on their website, forthcoming features include:
1. Integrated ability to upload pictures to a site dedicated to serving ÜberTwitter users
(They are going to have their own TwitPic/ Flickr!)
2. Ability to optionally update your Google Talk status with your last tweet, making your tweets reach a wider audience then just people following you on Twitter
(Double chat… through the BlackBerry… Love it!)
3. Automatically update your location based on the cell tower information provided by your phone, no GPS hardware required, click here for an example
(This is very cool, so my friends can find me and don’t have to keep calling or texting for directions… Just follow the dot everyone!)
4. Send videos embedded in your tweet (A-mazing)
5. See everyone who is tweeting near you (I love this. Truly connecting through Twitter.)
