Why Blog ?, Alexa top 100,000, 1000 + page views, Blogging for Me and You, Why Blog ?

Yesterday was a big day for me. Murraynewlands.com got over 1300 page views and went into the Alexa top 100,000 sites something I have been waiting for watching the numbers for some time. BUT that is about my geeky ambitions. Much more excitingly I am getting some more great interviews lined up with some amazing people! I hope that is a measure of the content I am posting and the connections I am making and conversations I am entering.

This raised a few thoughts in my mind that I would love your feedback on
-What do you like me writing about?
-What else would you like to see me write about on murraynewlands.com?
-If you are a blogger and reading this, how do you measure the success of your blog and why do you do it? IE What are your drivers?

Why do I blog? I suspect like many bloggers there are a number of reasons I blog. In no order:
-To enter conversations that I have a passion for.
-To connect with people on a subject I am interested in.
-Yes it has helped me with clients I work for and to get new clients.
-I seem to have become addicted to blogging……
-I have made some great friends.
-To share information about events, people and technology I think me friends and now wider readers who have not meet me would be interested to know about.
-Yes I blog for me if I did not blog for me it would not be fun, but I also blog for you the readers.

Why do you blog?
