Tell me about your Blog?
Forever A Younger is a place for me to share my everyday tales as I live, love and loathe my life as a wife and stay at home mom of 3. I share everything from my children’s accomplishments, family drama, arguments with my spouse right down to all of the things that led me to this point in my life. I also have a blog called My Mommy Reviews where I post product reviews from everyday household cleaners to kid’s shoes, books and movies. Finally, there is my cooking blog, From Our Table to Yours where I share recipes that quick and easy, beverages, and cooking tips and introduce kitchen gadgets.
My first blog was on Live Journal and that was more of a diary to me since I didn’t really advertise it to the world. Once I launched Forever A Younger I was not afraid to open up and share my life with anyone who stopped by.
Don’t be afraid to share not only your story, but yourself with others. Thanks to my blog, I have made some great new friends many of who are like family to me.
I have yet to encounter something like this.
What do bloggers do that you wish they wouldn’t?
The one thing that bloggers do that I really wish they wouldn’t, is bash each other.
Where do you see growth in the blogging field?
I am hoping to see some great work opportunities that are home based. With technology being what it is today, many consumers turn to the internet before heading out to make a purchase and I would love knowing that I helped them make a decision on an item.
What new ideas are advertisers coming up with to take advantage of new trends?
Advertisers have really started to listen to the loud voice that bloggers have and have found an array of different opportunities to get them involved. Some advertisers offer commission, flat pay, free products and trips to get a perspective from the consumer to help improve products
What do you do to improve the world?
I like to think that I help to improve the world everyday by keeping a positive and attempting to find the good in everything.
My family and I have been taking baby steps to be greener. We began this process by changing out the light bulbs in our home to CFL, have stopped buying bottled water and now use stainless steel water bottles, made sure to continue our recycling, have been purchasing all of our produce from our local farmers market and have stopped your paper and plastic grocery bags and converted to canvas totes.
That I love to collect all things frog and coffee related and I’m a huge computer geek!
What’s your favorite book?
To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee
What is on your iPod?
Ok, so I don’t have an iPod, but I do have an MP3 player loaded with lots of music. The current playlist includes, Grizzly Bear, Owl City, Katy Perry, Jessie James, Cobra Starship, Aerosmith, Michael Jackson, Miley Cyrus and T.I.

I prefer to communicate via email as it doesn’t steal time away from my family life.
*The Spohr’s Are Multiplying ( http://thespohrsaremultiplying.com) – I enjoyed following Heather & her husband Mike through pregnancy, the birth of Maddie, her life and now how they are coping with their loss.
*Ms. Single Mama (http://mssinglemama.com ) –As a former single mom, I am still one at heart. I like to meet other single moms and help them through any struggles they may have.
*Barefoot Foodie ( http://barefootfoodie.com ) –Honestly, everything she says makes me laugh my butt off!
*Dooce ( http://dooce.com ) –Love the way Heather tells a story and I also suffered from PPD.
*My Thought’s Ideas and Ramblings ( http://mythoughtsideasandramblings.com ) – Lisa is a former high school classmate and I like to stay informed on what’s going on in her life down in Chicago. She has also been a great asset to me and has taught me so much about blogging and without her I would be lost!
*Classy Chaos (http://classychaos.com/) – Great stories from a mom and how she ended up in America.
*Sex and the Mom (http://classychaos.com/) – Love knowing that there is a safe haven for moms to openly discuss sex and also because I am a contributing writer.
*My Party of 5 (http://brienjessesmom.blogspot.com/ ) – Sara shares her story of being as a mom to 3 ages 3 and under.
*My Bottle’s Up (http://www.mybottlesup.com/ ) – I enjoy following Nic’s tales of her family life and we each have a child close in age so it’s fun to see how many milestones they complete together.
What is one thing people can do for you?
People can continue to like me for me and keep reading what I write!
