The Twitter Moms Ning Group has been online since September of 2008 and now has over 21 thousand members. Run by Megan Calhoun, a mom who twitters, this forum has grown by leaps and bounds. If you are a mom and belong to Twitter, this is the place to be. Many of the members also blog, so there is a lot of information for bloggers and for online business owners also.

Twitter Moms has a discussion forum where you can find topics that run the gamut from celebrating the holidays, to parenting, from SEO to how to write a product review. There are also groups about cooking, hobbies, giveaways, saving money, etc. This is a one stop shop for anyone who is online.

Men are also members and are made to feel quite welcome. You have your own page when you join the group and can change your profile, add photos, add information about your blog and/or website and of course, your Twitter ID. Meeting, getting to know and staying connected on Twitter Moms is the focus of the group and it works well.

RAMBO alerts go out to members (Reach A Mom Blogger Online) via email to inform about posts that can be written for pay for companies such as Target, Lennox, and Staples as well as others. Usually the payment is a gift card, but you can also receive products. The way it works is that there’s a set number of blog posts for each RAMBO and those that write a post following the directions are paid. There’s also contests for larger prizes from these posts sometimes. There are controversial discussions about politics, religion, parenting issues and tame ones about dreams, fashion and Facebook. Megan has a group that is well liked by many and is often a daily stopping place to catch up on the news of the day .

Twitter Moms Ning Group is free to join and a great deal of fun to be a part of. You are offered information on blogging that is invaluable, opportunities to write for pay and to make friends online.
