Tell me about your Blog?
My sisters and I started our blog www.thesavingsisters.com in October of this year after my sister read an article about a woman saving 90% on her grocery bill every week. She was interested in seeing if it really worked so we decided to try it, and WOW we were amazed at how much money we saved just the first week, it was amazing. Don’t get me wrong it was alot of work getting all of our coupons ready and our list ready. Its like a full time job in itself, lol! But it was well worth it and we have been doing it ever since. After that we decided to start teaching people how to do it because so many of our friends and family were wanting us to show them how we did it. So I hosted a class taught by Shannon from www.bargainbuggyblog.com, it was amazing and we have been doing it ever since.

Since starting our blog, we have been able to reach more people and venture into online deals and bargains. I amazed at how much money I have thrown away in the last 15 yrs.

What was your first blog?
Back when I was like10 or so, we had that old email system called Prodigy, and I had like a blog that my like 20 friends could read about what I was doing in school, after school, weekend, etc. It was so old and slow, but I loved it.

What is the biggest tip you would give to a newbie blogger?
Not to give up! The longer you do it, the easier it gets. Trust me!

What do advertisers do that you wish they wouldn’t?
I guess that would be false advertisements on products. People seem to get burned alot signing up for things that don’t exist.

What do bloggers do that you wish they wouldn’t?
I personally think that we should ALL give credit where credit is due! Meaning if you took it from someones blog, credit them for it, that is one way we can all utilize each other and help each other out.

Where do you see growth in the blogging field? 
I think that it has endless growth. There have been so many bloggers that have gone on to form great and wonderful companies that help alot of people, all from starting a blog for people to read and follow.

What new ideas are advertisers coming up with to take advantage of new trends?
Using the blogs to test and review products, I think has been a great tool for advertisers.

What do you do to improve the world?
The best thing I can do, help people save money. In this day and time everyone needs help saving money poor, middle class, and the rich. I have learned through teaching couponing classes that no matter what type of lifestyle you or your partner have, saving money will always be the one thing most people will agree on.

What do you do that is green?
Not enough 🙁 I try to do paper and aluminum recycling, however I eed to get better about it in the 2010. New years resolution, maybe?
